Pakistan, however, faces a formidable challenge, as they have yet to secure a T20 victory against Australia on Australian soil.
Australia, meanwhile, is missing some key players: Travis Head and regular captain Mitchell Marsh, both of whom are preparing for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against India.
